PLot Day 1
Today is October 16, 2013, our first day out in the plots. During the time outside my members and I spent time observing our plot. While I was out there I observed many different things. I saw many different organisms. Some of them were mushrooms, snails, and spiders. An interesting thing I noted was that there were many different types of trees in our small plot area, (which I thought was really interesting).

Today is October 16, 2013, our group went out for the plots. Today was a little bit chili and the ground was kind of wet. During the time that we spent outside, we found many different organism and trees. We saw a pink mushroom, a white mushroom, a spider and a snail. We also recognized some of the trees in our plot area, which is interesting. I am really excited to see some changes next time!( Cindy Biao)
October 16, 2013: This was day one our on our plot. We figured out where the plot will be and set it up. Our area seemed to be really interesting. There were a variety of organisms to observe. Because of the wet weather today, a lot of mushroom and fungi started to come out. There were also two or three dead and decaying trees in our plot, which is probably a result of the weather or the age of the trees. Spiders, snails , and bugs were also found around the plot. Overall, our plot seems to be really interesting and I look forward to seeing the changes throughout the year. (Moss Rerkpattanapipat)
October 16, 2013. On our first plot day we scoped out a good plot of land to observe over the nest few months and we tagged and identified all of the trees in our plot. I, being the naturalist, look for different organisms throughout our plot. Some of the things I found included five species of mushrooms, a few species of spiders on the forest floor, assorted bugs and beetles, and a snail. It was altogether an intriguing first day.
